Jackson Browne Tribute Album Featuring VENICE!
We are so honored to have been asked to contribute to the first ever Jackson Browne tribute album, “Looking Into You:  A Tribute To Jackson Browne.”  We’re in the company of some pretty big names on this album:  Bruce Springsteen, Don Henley, Bruce Hornsby, Bonnie Raitt, just to name a few.  Of course we decided to do our rendition of “For a Dancer,” but we’ve made a few arrangement tweaks, such as Mark and Kipp sharing lead vocals.  The album is due out on April 1st, so watch for it, and please spread the word to your friends that your band Venice is on it.
15 Years in The Netherlands
Next week, we’ll be in Hollland, celebrating 15 years of sharing our music with the Dutch people.  It’s been an amazing journey, and we honestly can’t think of a better place to have found success outside of the states.  The upcoming tour will include a special show in Arnhem at Luxor Live, the first live concert venue we ever played in the Netherlands…..what a night that was!  The tour is also in support of our newest single release, “Chemistry.”  We’ve been rehearsing some new songs from “What Summer Brings” that have never been performed live, so practice singing along, or put on your air guitar.  We’re ready for you…will you be ready for us?
Tickets are still available for these shows, so check Venice Central for the dates!
VENICE in PARIS
No, the city isn’t relocating, the band is spreading its wings.  That’s right, it’s our first ever live show in Paris, April 5th at Divan Du Monde, a very cool club.  We’re really looking forward to starting a revolution in France — a Venice revolution!  We hope that some of our friends in the surrounding countries will join us for this new adventure in Venice’s history.  If you have any family or friends in Paris or nearby, please let them know about the show.
We’ll also be doing a live performance and interview the night before, April 4, on RTL radio show “Les Nocturnes” with famous French DJ Georges Lang.  You can tune in live from anywhere in the world via their webpage:  http://www.rtl.fr

Artists for the Arts
People have been asking about this annual event, so we want to let everyone officially know that we’ve decided to take a year off.  But mark your calendars for our triumphant return to Samohi’s Barnum Hall:  February 7, 2015!
That’s it for now.  Please remember to check www.venicecentral.com and our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/venicetheband, for more news and show info.  Hope to see you soon!
All the best,

Michael – Venice
